What should I do if I am travelling in a group or with my family?

Each passenger, including children, must have their own ticket. For example, it is not possible to use a single Navigo Easy pass for the whole group.

Here are your options for travelling in a group or with your family:

  • Navigo Easy for each person : each member of the group has their own Navigo Easy pass.
  • Using the Apple Wallet app (iPhone only): You can store transit tickets for multiple people on the same iPhone through the Apple Wallet app. Each member of the group will have their own paperless transport card in your phone.
  • Combination of solutions : you can store your own ticket in your phone and use Navigo Easy passes for the other members of the group.

Android users

For Android users, each member of the group will have to use a separate phone (with one card per phone) or a Navigo Easy pass (one pass per person).

iPhone Owners

If you want to combine your family's or group's transit tickets in one iPhone, you can create multiple transit cards within the same device.

Each card will be used for a specific person, child or adult. This feature is only available to iPhone owners.

How do I add an additional transit card with the Apple Wallet app?

Follow these steps to create an additional dematerialized Navigo card in your iPhone:

  1. Open the "Maps" app.
  2. Press the (+) button and select "Transit Card".
  3. Choose "France/Navigo" from the available regions and networks.
  4. Click "Continue".
  5. Select the ticket you want to purchase, then click "Buy".
  6. Follow the instructions to finalise the purchase and creation of your dematerialised Navigo card.

To add more Navigo cards to your iPhone, repeat this procedure.

Validate your ticket with multiple cards

If you have multiple cards in your iPhone, here's how to validate your transit ticket:

  • Manual Selection : Select the desired card by double-pressing the right side button on your iPhone to view your available cards.
  • Express Transit Mode : Enable this mode to quickly validate a specific card without unlocking the screen. This option is available in the Maps app.

When you create your first dematerialised Navigo card, the Express Transport mode is activated by default.

Enable Express Mode on iPhone:
  1. Open the "Maps" app.
  2. Select your Navigo card.
  3. In the context menu (...), choose "Map Data".
  4. Select "Express Transit Settings" and choose the card.
Turn on Express Mode on Apple Watch via your iPhone:
  1. Open the "Watch" app on your iPhone.
  2. Go to "Cards & Apple Pay".
  3. Select "Express Transport" and choose the desired card.

The last four digits of the card number will appear on the card visual to help you identify which card you want to use.
